The Magic Path of Intuition: Small Book, Majorly Enlightening

There are books that inspire you to dream big - and then there are books that teach you how to make your dreams come true - and that is the book we all need to read.

A small, cute book that can change your life.
The Magic Path of Intuition by Florence Scovel Shinn is that kind of book and I'm loving not just the ideas in it, but the creativity behind the physical book itself.

There are a lot of self-help books that lay out for you the plan to fix or improve your life. They give it to you in habits, in numbers, what to do, what to track, etc. But few tackle the root cause of one's struggles - our mindset, our concept of who we are and what we can be.

This small book is not only small enough to carry with you everywhere but it is also beautiful, which would make you want to carry it everywhere and show it off. The packaging itself is attractive but the ideas inside are even more so.

The first lesson is one we deeply need today, and every day.
The quote for the first lesson is very simple and beautifully illustrates how prayer and intuition works.

"Prayer is telephoning to God, and intuition is God telephoning to you."

The book is full of quotes like these, as well as verses from the Bible. This is one of my favorites and it really makes it clear what prayer and meditation is, and what intuition is. It is also a comforting idea, especially to someone who may not have someone to talk to about their struggles in life. A God that talks back to you is a very heart-warming concept.

You are not alone in your struggles for there is someone listening, guiding you and helping you as long as you keep your communication lines open.

A funny quote on how to vibrate in harmony with health and happiness.
Another one of my favorite and funny quote in the book is about experiencing health and happiness.

"A harmonious person is never vibrating at the same rate as a germ."

Aside from the concept that a germ is too small to even see so that we ignore it; the quote also tells us that we are not as insignificant as a germ and therefore God, the Divine Source, the Universe, will never ignore us.

It also means that we are intelligent enough to dream big, and to succeed in accomplishing our goals. We only need to maintain our belief of our own value and not sabotage ourselves by thinking small, or by thinking unhealthy thoughts.

There are more magical lessons in the book with cute illustrations and colorful pages. It makes you want to turn the page and not stop, and that is how I finished it in just one sitting.

I hope you can all get a copy of this book. It would also be a great gift to encourage a loved one or a colleague who is going through a tough time in their life. With how pretty the whole book is, it would add to the happiness of anyone who receives it as a gift.
