Memory of Books and Pressed Flowers

One of my earliest childhood memories with books is using small flowers and leaves instead of a bookmark to mark the page where I stopped reading. And as children do, I forget that I wanted to finish a book as I got distracted with school and playing games with other kids.

Then, when I finally find my way to the book again, the flowers are already dried and pressed - a beautiful decoration, and still a functional bookmark. So I kept them in the book even after I've finished reading it.
